About GPM

Think 'Formula One' and what do you see? A square-jawed German who wins basically everything and jumps up and down on the podium? An unshaven Brit who hangs out with leggy blondes and rarely gets on the podium? Or a crash-happy Japanese who has no hope of even seeing the podium?

Whatever your vision of F1 is, you can be assured that you will not find it here! F1M aims to bring you this world of glamour, fame and fortune as viewed through distinctly oil-tinted glasses, blunted by a cloud of smoke from an expiring Toyota, and mixed with rubber marbles left behind by a disintegrating Bridgestone.

We want to bring you F1 as it is - warts and all, a no holds barred rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs, the lefts and rights, the spins and stalls of the modern day 'pinnacle' of motor sport.

We want to tell you stories of intrigue and innovation, of speed and suspense, of tragedy and terror, and of frolics, and fun. We want to bring you a Formula One site like no other - GPM.

F1M is an independent production - we tow no line, we pander to no-one. We want to bring you the fun side of the sport, along with current affairs and historical reminiscence - 'for the fans, by the fans' is our doctrine.

We will not publish stories that have age old has-beens giving their opinion of who will win, or who will not; neither will we bring you constant reminders of who has a birthday, who has a baby, or who has a sore knee.

We will bring you relevant analysis, interesting insight, personal comment and scurrilous scandal - anything that makes the day brighter for the fun-starved F1 fan.

We will also bring you fun facts, challenging competitions, and an opportunity for you, the reader, to put your case on the topic of the moment.
